I’ve spent more than 20 years working at the intersection of communications, social media, digital strategy and technology.
Much of that experience comes from working inside a large organization, where good communication has to do more than sound good. It has to make sense to different audiences, support business priorities, earn trust and actually get done.
Over the years, I’ve built and led social media programs, developed executive communication strategies, managed content and digital initiatives, supported major campaigns and helped teams communicate through complex issues and change.
Today, I bring that experience to executives and small businesses that need experienced communications and digital support without the overhead or complexity of a large agency.
I help make complicated things clearer.
That’s probably the simplest way to describe what I do.
Sometimes that means helping an executive develop a stronger presence on LinkedIn and turn their experience and expertise into useful thought leadership.
Sometimes it means helping a business improve its messaging, website, social media or overall digital presence.
And increasingly, it means helping people figure out how AI can make communications work faster and smarter without making the work sound generic or losing the human judgment behind it.
My approach is practical: understand what you’re trying to accomplish, simplify what’s getting in the way and build something you can actually use.
Experience matters. So does staying current.
I started working in digital long before social media became a business function. I’ve watched websites, online communities, social media, content marketing and now AI change how organizations communicate.
I’ve also had the opportunity to build programs from the ground up, including social media strategy, employee training, executive social media programs, content operations and digital initiatives.
That experience has taught me something important: new tools matter, but the tool is rarely the strategy.
The best work still starts with understanding the audience, having something worthwhile to say and communicating it clearly.
AI doesn’t change that. It just gives us new ways to do it better.
What I bring to the work
Enterprise experience.
More than two decades working across communications, social media, digital strategy and content in a complex corporate environment.
Executive perspective.
Experience helping leaders communicate in a way that sounds like them, builds visibility and supports broader business priorities.
Hands-on execution.
I don’t just develop recommendations. I can help write the content, build the website, develop the system, create the workflow or get the program moving.
A practical approach to AI.
I use and build AI tools for real communications work, from research and content development to knowledge assistants, reporting and custom agents.
A little more about me
I’m naturally curious about technology and have been for most of my career. I enjoy figuring out how new tools work, but I’m even more interested in whether they solve a real problem.
That curiosity has taken me from early websites and online communities to social media, digital marketing and now AI.
Along the way, my work has been recognized with industry awards for social media, digital content, websites and reputation management. But the work I’m most proud of usually comes down to something simpler: helping people communicate better, building something useful and seeing it continue to work after I’m done.
That’s what I try to bring to every project.
Let's work together.
Whether you’re an executive looking to build your visibility, a small business that needs stronger communications and marketing, or you’re trying to figure out how AI can make your work easier, I can help you determine the right approach.
