B & S Home Improvement: Website and Local Search

A Durham general contractor with 28 five-star reviews and seven Best of Houzz awards had no website — every lead came through a third-party profile he did not control.

I built a fast, owner-operated site with dedicated kitchen and bathroom remodeling pages for local search, a project gallery, verified review pull-through, service-area coverage for the Triangle, and an estimate request form that routes straight to him. Structured data and local SEO fundamentals were built in from the start.

He now owns the channel: the site converts on his own terms, ranks for the remodeling searches that matter in Durham, Chapel Hill, and Carrboro, and gives homeowners the proof they need before they call.

Executive Personal Brand Site

An executive with two decades of commercial leadership needed a site that carried the weight of his track record while positioning him for partnership and M&A conversations.

I built the site in Divi, developed the messaging and page structure around his growth story, and set up an articles section so his case studies and field notes publish on a cadence. The design leans on a dark editorial hero, a metrics band, and a focus-areas grid that makes his range legible at a glance.

The result is a credibility asset he can send to a board, an investor, or a prospective partner, with a blog engine behind it that keeps building visibility.

Latta Park: Social Media and Website

Crosland Southeast’s Latta Park project had been voted down twice due to rumors, concerns, and poor communication.

I built and managed a website with FAQs and a discussion board, launched a Facebook page, ran paid ads, and sent monthly newsletters to keep residents informed. I actively monitored sentiment, answered questions, and shifted the conversation toward transparency, helping supporters rally.

On council night, officials said they’d “never seen such a large crowd” and credited our digital outreach. The project was approved and is now under construction, a win for the developer, the city, and the community.

Frog Hollow: Social Media and Web Site

Frog Hollow Outdoors had no digital presence.

I launched their Facebook page and trained staff to build momentum, quickly growing a strong following and engagement. That success sparked interest in a full website. I designed their site, created a logo, added trip showcases, a calendar, and a scheduling tool—while ensuring the owner wasn’t locked into developer dependence.

After training, they now manage updates themselves, keeping the site as fresh as the outdoors they promote.

Blue Cross NC

Blue Cross NC Social Media and Blog

At Blue Cross NC, I built and launched the company’s first social media and blog program introducing platforms that have become core to brand, marketing, and reputation. I implemented and managed enterprise tools including Sprout Social, Khoros, Salesforce Social Studio, GaggleAmp, Bambu, and Canva, scaling day-to-day operations while shaping strategy.

The blog now drives over 2 million pageviews a year and positions the company as a trusted voice for consumers and thought leadership. Social channels fuel awareness and engagement, supported by paid media campaigns that began under my leadership and have since grown into a dedicated team. Most recently, I developed a TikTok/video strategy to reach younger audiences with insurance education and employee brand focus expanding our digital presence and aligning with evolving business needs.

Process improvement, AI and tool implementation

Process Improvement and Tool Implementation

Small businesses, nonprofits, and corporations often struggle with scattered systems and inefficient workflows.

I’ve built and customized tools in Quickbase, Airtable, SharePoint, and DivvyHQ tools to streamline intake requests, track customer service issues, and manage data for content calendars, CRMs, and contract databases. I’ve also created AI-powered tools using agents and templated GPTs to improve social and blog content creation.

From Airspeed to Blue Cross NC, MediaSpan Group, YMCA, and Watts Street Baptist Church, these improvements created a single source of truth, boosting accuracy, ensuring data integrity, and enabling on-demand reporting. The result: more efficiency and far less time wasted on gathering, tracking, and publishing.
